Project Reports
Final Report
The Final Report provides a good overview of the whole project.
Deliverable 1.1
Specification of the criteria to be used, the sample of users involved and the description of tests to be performed
The first part outlines the objectives of the empirical research, discusses the methods applied and summarises the results regarding the quality of housing, lighting conditions in people’s homes, technical affinity, sleep quality etc. The second part is related to the tests to be performed including the criteria for selecting test persons and the designs for the laboratory tests.
Deliverable 1.2
Results of the lab tests performed
to obtain the psycho-physiological target values for activation and relaxation and
the psycho-physiological effects of different light parameters on older adults.
It also discusses preliminary results of the user tests and expert reviews carried out to ensure ageing-friendly user interfaces and devices.
Deliverable 1.3:
Description of support measures aimed at preserving the mental and physical fitness of older adults
The overall aim of Work Package (WP) 1 is to produce the user requirements specification.
Report 4.1
Report on the test results and the evaluation of the system as a whole.
The present deliverable aims at giving an overview of the fieldwork done in Workpackage 4 by the respective partners and to evaluate the ALADIN prototype as a whole with regard to its underlying purpose which is to enhance the overall mental and physical well-being of older adults.
Furthermore, this deliverable gives an overview on iterative user tests and expert reviews conducted to optimise usability and accessibility of the ALADIN prototype.
Report 4.2
Fully functional solution including possible redesigns and extensions.
Here you find a detailed description of both software and hardware of the ALADIN prototype.
Report 4.3
Description of a general model about the correlations between environmental variables and the psycho-physiological states of older adults.
A bio-psycho-social (BPS) model extended with technology and environmental factors has found to be the most appropriate model to underpin the ALADIN system. The report discusses how we arrived at this decision and how the prototype matches the model.
Report 5.1
Final plan for using and dissemination knowledge.
If you are interested in learning more about how we intend to exploit the knowledge gained in the ALADIN project and how the adaptive lighting solution can be developed further to improve its market potential
Survey
Survey of the state-of-the-art in smart homes
A survey of the state-of-the-art in smart homes was prepared in view of future exploitation of the ALADIN system which can be easily integrated into a general assistive environment.
